Work in Mount Gambier the city of craters, lakes and caves. Mount Gambier has many unique attractions, extensive accommodation and dining options, easily accessible shopping and entertainment are surrounded by volcanic craters, lakes, limestone and underground aquifers. Fly to either Adelaide or Melbourne within one hour with regular direct flights both to and from the area. My Client based in this unique area is currently trying to source an Occupational Therapist for a six month locum position they have in their Country service area based out of Mount Gambier.
This locum position is working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the upmost care is provided to their aged care patients. This role is initially for six months with the potential to extend for a longer period.
In order to progress within this role you will:
• Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy
• Have full AHPRA Registration or be in the process of obtaining this
• Have a minimum of one years plus experience in a geriatric/ community setting
• Be able to provide geriatric evaluation and assessment
• Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Hold a full Australian drivers licence
• Can re-locate to the local area and commit to a six month contract with the view to extending
• Able to manage a full case load and provide written assessment to support this
